Our Community
Located southeast of Denver and northeast of Colorado Springs, Colorado’s Central Plains is a great place to raise a family. There are many small tight-knit communities where people still know how to be good neighbors. It‘s where there is a “high quality of life.” We just know it’s a nice way to live.
The Central Plains’ most populated county is Elbert County with over 19,000 residents. Many families who work in the Denver metro area have moved to western Elbert County to leave the commotion of the city behind. Kit Carson County lies at the eastern most edge of Colorado and has a flourishing irrigated agricultural economy. Residents of Colorado’s Central Plains have found a quiet country live style with homespun values still intact.
